Gordon A. Brown, PhD

Dr. Brown spent fifteen years in senior Research and Technology positions for Kraft Foods, General Mills, and Paramount Farms before founding his own food and bio-energy technology think tank, Breakthrough Technologies. Gordon is directly responsible for the development of such well-known products as fruit roll-ups and popular breakfast cereals. 

Accordingly, Gordon’s special skills add a unique prospective to:

  • Operational reviews to identify cost reduction opportunities
  • Assessment and implementation design of best use integration of technical, MIS, and manufacturing assets in highly levered, turnaround environments

Educated in Canada, Gordon Brown obtained his Bachelors in Food Science and Masters in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Guelph and PhD in Management Science from the University of Waterloo.
